According to the Bulgarian Rules on foreign investment foreigners can buy buildings but not land. Therefore the most common method is to set up a company which then owns the property.

We can organize and assist you during the entire process of setting up your company. If you want to set up your own company the taxes for its opening are about 500 Euros. In case you want to open a bank account you have to deposit 5,000 leva (2,500 Euros) in some Bulgarian bank. These 5,000 leva are just to open an account for your company! Once the company is registered you can use these 5,000 leva /these ones are your money/, for example as a part of your money for your new home in Bulgaria.

In this case to buy a home in Bulgaria you need pay 500 Euros for set up-a-company-fees, 2,500 Euros just to open an account in some bank to your Bulgarian company (these ones are your money and you can use them) and our real estate agent fee.
